The Songs
Phase 3
The Set Song is at the heart of the Glee Challenge. Each year we try to use a song which reflects our values, has something to say, fits with a broad dance-pop genre and is a song which the children can relate too. All choirs must perform the set song.
Song 1: Your are Loved by Stars go dim

The song is Heroes by Alesso ft. Tove Lo from 2014. It’s a well- known track and a great inspirational song about identity and difference which seems just right.

The lyrics for a large number of contemporary tracks are not appropriate for our age groups so it is important to check.
The positive message ‘we could be heroes’ is one that works on so many fronts for our children and allows us to explore so much (Log in for more)
